1. Spinning Hat Cap Zappa Bottle Opener
A bottle opener is something just about every household has. When you happen to buy some drinks that don't have twist-off lids, you're going to wish you had one.
In the last few years, I've noticed some small, cheap products gain a lot of traction online like Batman style bottle openers, rubber band shooters, fidget spinners, etc.
The bottle cap shooter is cheap ($5.99-$6.80), functional, and fun. This is why it is getting some attention online. Maybe you could come up with a similar business idea.
2. Drink-A-Palooza Board Game
If you're a fan of drinking games and board games, Drink-A-Palooza is for you. It basically combines a classic board game like Monopoly with popular drinking games like Beer Pong.
I've seen a bit of trend in party games like these. When people get together with a group of friends, one of the most fun things you can do is play a game together.
If you can come up with a game that combines two types of games that are super popular (like Beer Pong and Monopoly), like Drink-A-Palooza, you should make some good money.
The price point is a big part of it though. Just as an idea, Drink-A-Palooza is doing really well at $35.
3. Bunsters Sh*t The Bed 12/10 Heat Hot Sauce
Another trend I've seen in products like sauces and even books is an edgy name. Apparently, when you slap a curse word in the middle of a product label or book title, it can boost sales in some cases.
With Bunsters Sh*t The Bed Hot Sauce, you get a funny, edgy title that seems to be getting attention on blogs and social media. It's got a 4.5 out of 5 star rating on Amazon with lots of people checking it out online.
If you could come up with a good product that has a funny, edgy name around the $18 price point that this hot sauce has, you may make some good money.
4. The Walking Dead Michonne Katana Prop Replica
Whether you watch much TV or not, it seems like everyone has at least one TV show that they absolutely love like Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, etc.
Some people take it a step further and collect memorabilia for their favorite shows. These prop replicas, custom movie posters from companies like Mondo, and other things have gotten really popular.
This replica of a Walking Dead character's sword is another example. It's $152.95 on Amazon and is getting lots of interest on social media and certain blogs.
If you can avoid copyright problems, you could start a very profitable business on Amazon or Etsy making movie prop replicas.
5. The Pop-Up Book of Phobias
Another type of product that's been getting interest online is funny, adult humor books. The Pop-Up Book of Phobias is just one of many books that seem to be loved as a gag gift to a friend.
On Amazon, it is $32.47. This is a pretty expensive for a book, but it could be really profitable around the holidays when people do gift exchanges with groups of friends.
