SmartAsset is hiring a Client Experience Specialist.
This is a fully remote position available within the contiguous United States.
The schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EDT.
The role requires at least 1 year of high-volume call center experience and involves making more than 200 outbound calls per day to help consumers connect with financial advisors.
For residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Nevada, Rhode Island, Washington, and New York City, the compensation is listed as a $45,000 base salary with up to $60,000 OTE, plus RSUs and benefits.

Client Experience Specialists serve as the frontline voice of SmartAsset and help consumers connect with financial advisors.
This role focuses on guiding users through the advisor matching process, scheduling consultations, and delivering a positive customer experience while meeting performance goals.
The position is well-suited for individuals who are comfortable with high-volume outbound calling and performance-based environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform more than 200 outbound calls per day to users who have expressed interest in speaking with financial advisors.
- Help consumers navigate the advisor matching process and answer questions along the way.
- Coordinate and schedule consultations between consumers and financial advisors.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and team goals.
- Deliver personalized experiences using customer service best practices and approved messaging.
- Accurately document interactions, outcomes, and customer feedback within internal systems.
- Recognize recurring user concerns and escalate trends when appropriate.
- Share feedback and suggestions with team leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Assist with special projects and business initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of high-volume call center experience.
- Comfortable working in environments focused on quotas, conversion rates, and performance metrics.
- Ability to learn quickly and adjust to changing business and customer needs.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Professional verbal communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Availability
This role follows a fixed schedule of Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EDT.
Employees may occasionally be required to work holidays or weekends during peak business periods.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
Ability to communicate regularly through phone calls and video conferencing tools.
Pay Information
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Nevada, Rhode Island, Washington, and New York City residents:
Base Salary: $45,000
On Target Earnings (OTE): Up to $60,000

Final compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
