Job Highlight: Operations Support Specialist
Mainspring is seeking a dependable Operations Support Specialist to monitor equipment alerts and operational systems during overnight shifts.
The role centers around following established troubleshooting procedures, responding to system notifications, documenting actions taken, and escalating issues when necessary.
This is not a customer service role in the traditional sense. Instead, it is closer to operations monitoring, dispatch support, technical support, or control center work.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor alerts, notifications, and operational systems during overnight shifts.
- Follow established troubleshooting guides and flowcharts to resolve issues.
- Restart systems when appropriate and escalate unresolved issues to engineering teams.
- Maintain detailed records of alerts, actions taken, and issue outcomes.
- Help ensure equipment and operational processes continue running smoothly.
- Provide additional coverage during vacations, absences, and other staffing needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in operations, dispatch, monitoring, technical support, customer support, or similar roles is preferred.
- Comfortable learning technical systems, dashboards, and monitoring tools.
- Able to follow procedures, investigate issues, and execute solutions independently.
- Strong accuracy and organizational skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Able to manage multiple alerts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.

Shift Schedule
This role follows a four-day, ten-hour schedule.
Block A
Saturday through Tuesday
9:00 PM to 7:00 AM Pacific Time
Block B
Tuesday through Friday
9:00 PM to 7:00 AM Pacific Time
