The role requires at least two years of Customs Broker experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

A Customs Broker License is preferred but not required.

Weekend and holiday work may be required based on operational needs.

Job Highlights: Customs Brokerage Professional

UPS is seeking an experienced Customs Brokerage professional to prepare customs entries, coordinate freight movement, and support the import clearance process. This role requires strong knowledge of customs regulations, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with customers, carriers, and international offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare customs entries and forward freight to designated locations.
• Monitor and follow the customs clearance process for assigned entries.
• Communicate documentation discrepancies to customers and supervisors.
• Coordinate freight delivery with domestic and international carriers.
• Resolve finance and accounting reconciliation issues.
• Scan entries into the imaging system while meeting required deadlines.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and analyses using software and databases.
• Troubleshoot documentation issues and communicate with customers and overseas offices.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Participate in weekend and holiday work rotations when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• At least two years of experience working for a Customs Broker.
• Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws, regulations, and government agency requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customs Broker License.
