Natera is hiring a Regional Customer Support Specialist, which is also referred to internally as a Territory Manager.

The role focuses on supporting medical professionals, patients, and internal teams while helping ensure a smooth testing and reporting process.

A two-year degree or 2 to 5 years of related experience is preferred. An undergraduate degree is also preferred, but not specifically required.

This customer support role serves as a primary contact for medical accounts and sales representatives. The position involves helping customers navigate the testing process, resolving issues, tracking missing information, communicating delays, and ensuring results are delivered within expected turnaround times.

The role requires strong communication skills, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to handle escalated customer situations professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support: Respond to internal and external customer inquiries
  • Account Management: Serve as the primary contact for accounts and sales teams
  • Issue Resolution: Research and resolve escalated customer concerns
  • Documentation: Record communications, actions taken, and follow ups
  • Sample Coordination: Help facilitate redraws and communicate delays or cancellations
  • Test Knowledge: Maintain familiarity with Natera oncology testing processes and requirements
  • Compliance: Handle protected health information in accordance with HIPAA requirements

Qualifications

  • Education: Two year degree and/or 2 to 5 years of related experience
  • Experience: Customer support, account support, or related experience
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication
  • Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Problem Solving: Strong critical thinking and issue resolution skills
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate knowledge of GSuite and strong typing, spelling, and grammar skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Experience with laboratory information management systems
  • Experience with customer portals and cloud based call center platforms
  • Bilingual skills
  • Data maintenance and analysis experience
