Job Highlight: Claims Administrator I

Machinify is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Administrator to support its Complex Payment Solutions team.

The role is responsible for reviewing incoming claims, organizing data, routing files, maintaining accurate records, and supporting healthcare payment audits. A significant portion of the work involves data entry, document review, administrative processing, and quality control.

This is not a customer-facing call center role. Instead, it is primarily focused on claims administration, healthcare documentation, and internal operational support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review incoming claims and assign appropriate statuses.
  • Enter and maintain claim information and supporting documentation.
  • Organize, route, and track files throughout the review process.
  • Send completed files to auditors and appropriate internal teams.
  • Verify charges, reconcile balances, and identify discrepancies.
  • Monitor file-sharing processes and ensure data transfer accuracy.
  • Analyze trends and communicate updates regarding inventory, routing, and workflow efficiency.
  • Assist with additional administrative and operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience with medical records or medical terminology is preferred.
  • Proficiency with:
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Adobe Acrobat
    • Multi-monitor work environments
  • Strong organizational and accuracy skills.
  • Ability to identify errors, discrepancies, and process improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
