Job Highlight: Telephonic Nurse Case Manager (RN)
EK Health is seeking Registered Nurses to provide telephonic case management services for injured workers.
The role involves evaluating patient needs, coordinating treatment plans, communicating with stakeholders, and helping ensure patients receive appropriate and cost-effective care throughout the recovery process.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Care: Work with injured workers, healthcare providers, employers, and insurance representatives
- Perform Assessments: Complete nursing evaluations and determine patient needs
- Review Medical Records: Analyze treatment plans, provider reports, and medical correspondence
- Develop Care Plans: Create and implement care strategies designed to support recovery
- Monitor Progress: Track patient outcomes and adjust plans when needed
- Arrange Services: Coordinate home care, medical equipment, transportation, procedures, and other approved services
- Maintain Documentation: Prepare detailed case notes and updates
- Communicate Updates: Keep claims examiners and insurance representatives informed of case status
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of clinical RN experience
- Licensure: Valid Compact RN license in good standing with no restrictions
- Additional Licensing: May be required to obtain a California RN license
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Organizational Skills: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and other computer programs

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM local time

This opportunity may appeal to experienced Registered Nurses looking to transition away from direct bedside care while still playing an active role in patient outcomes.
