Job Highlight: Project Manager
CareMetx is seeking a Project Manager to support both client-facing and internal initiatives through its Project Management Office.
The position includes responsibility for managing projects from inception through delivery while ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations are met.
Projects may include new product launches, software and technology initiatives, operational improvements, and infrastructure deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables
- Project Delivery: Lead projects from initiation through completion
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate with clients, leadership teams, and project stakeholders
- Risk Management: Identify, monitor, and resolve project risks and issues
- Budget Oversight: Track project costs and resource utilization
- Documentation: Maintain project artifacts and PMO documentation
- Status Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress and milestones
- Team Leadership: Facilitate project meetings and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Process Improvement: Recommend enhancements to project delivery practices and PMO operations
Qualifications
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 3 years managing software development, IT, or technology-related projects
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
- Project Management Knowledge: Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and processes
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate teams and manage stakeholders effectively
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, healthcare, or healthcare hub services industries
- Management consulting experience
- PMP or CAPM certification
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience with Agile project management frameworks
- Healthcare technology project experience
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Standard Eastern Time business hours
- Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and training
