YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- Competency in preparing local, state, and federal taxes for a small company
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an accounting capacity (preferred)
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance with a GPA of 3.0+
- A focus on teamwork and flexibility, as well as the capacity to work well under pressure
- Great interpersonal skills for working with diverse personnel/departments throughout the company
- Knowledge of Quickbooks Online software is a plus
- Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs (candidate will be tested)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google Documents (preferred)
- The availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Pacific Standard Time

YOUR DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Record all transactions to the ledger in Quickbooks Online
- Reconcile general ledger, journal entries, and bank statements
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Analyze monthly financials and performance metrics in pursuit of improving cash flow and business efficiency
- Compare and analyze annual budgets and cash flow forecasts with actual results
- Prepare and submit annual and quarterly taxes to city, county, state, and federal authorities

Accounting Analyst at Trafilea
Build your career as an Accounting Analyst supporting the accounting closing process, proactively investigate and resolve discrepancies – research and explain account fluctuations. You will assist in the preparation of internal and external reporting packages for management, investors, and key vendors.
Job Challenges
- Support in the accounting closing process, to accomplish timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures for certain key balance sheet and income statement accounts (including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations and compositions).
- Proactively investigate and resolve discrepancies – research and explain account fluctuations.
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external reporting packages for management, investors and key vendors.
- Assist in improving the accounting processes by helping to evaluate processes and opportunities to add value and efficiency.
- Participate in the external audit process, providing all the documentation on time to the auditors related to the accounts and samples assigned.
- Prepare the monthly invoicing information for Wholesale.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 2- 3 years of general accounting experience.
- External audit experience in Big4 (Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, and EY) auditing Retail or – Ecommerce companies is a plus.
- Fluent in English is a must.
- Advanced Excel is a must.
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures is a must. IFRS / SOX / US GAAP is a plus.
- Experience with Netsuite ERP or another ERP will be valued.
