A lot of major brands have pulled out of advertising on YouTube because a fraction of their ads were displayed next to offensive or violent videos.

1. Realize it’s not going to be permanent
Youtube is the #2 most highly trafficked site in the world and people are distancing themselves more and more from traditional TV. There’s no way top brands stay away from YouTube ads very long.

2. Check if your videos are being demonetized and dispute them if you think they shouldn’t be
Some videos are being demonetized accidentally because of the tweaks in the YouTube algorithm.

Many of the people having trouble with demonetization tend to have some videos that are about politics, sensitive news subjects, etc. You may avoid these to make a living on YouTube.
4. Produce more videos
You may just have to produce more content if on your channel if you are getting only a percentage of what you were previously making per video.
5. Affiliate marketing
This is one of the best ways to start making extra money from your channel without having to invest in anything or make a product.
Online courses are not too difficult to make and you could hundreds or even thousands of dollars per student that takes them.
7. On-Demand apparel
You don’t want to deal with the headache of selling apparel the old fashioned way. Instead use a site like Teespring that will make the apparel and ship it to customers only after they buy it.
8. Handcrafted goods
If you’re pretty artistic, you might consider starting an online store on a site like Etsy and promoting it on YouTube.

One of the fastest ways to get started making a living online is through the selling of services. Use YouTube to get more clients.

Membership sites are very valuable because they allow you to know how much income you’ll probably have coming in each month thanks to the monthly payments customers pay.

These are some of the best products you could possibly sell because they’re online and have no limits.

Dailymotion may not get as much traffic as YouTube, but it could help make up for a little bit of the ad revenue you’ve been losing.

Vimeo allows you to post videos and sell paid video content.

Posting videos on your website can get them a big increase in views and allow you to monetize them your own way.

Twitter now allows you to upload videos directly to the platform and monetize them.
