What you'll do:
- Manage our social media editorial calendar — including content scheduling in Hootsuite and managing requests from internal team members.
- Develop social content across Zapier owned channels— Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Grow our influencer program — identify new influencers to engage with for current and upcoming campaigns, and report on their performance.
- Research new social media trends– identify relevant news, content creators, social media tools, best practices, and other opportunities in the social media space to best leverage trends relevant to Zapier.
- Assist with all stages of influencer management from developing creative concepts to finalizing contracts.
- Engage with Zapier’s followers to drive positive conversations.
- Use strong written and visual communication skills to grow our social media program.
Qualifications:
- You’re a social media enthusiast. We’re looking for 2+ years of experience in social media, marketing communications, or public relations roles, either in-house or agency. You have an excellent knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. Bonus points if you’ve worked with influencers. You’ve done social media marketing before, and you want to learn more.
- You’re an excellent written communicator. You’re a clear, thoughtful, and persuasive communicator. You can communicate an idea in 140 characters. You’ve written social plans, Tweets, Instagram captions, TikTok scripts, and memes. You can learn our brand’s voice and create engaging content.
- You’ve got your finger on the pulse of media trends. You know a meme will go viral before Buzzfeed posts about it and speak in trending TikTok sounds. You’re the go-to person for trends and content, and you’re always on the look for what’s next.
- You’re creative. You enjoy brainstorming new ideas and are eager to try and learn new things. You enjoy consuming all varieties of content, including written articles, podcasts, videos, social media, and more.
- You’ve never missed a deadline. Your organizational skills are enviable, and you pride yourself on your attention to detail, keen judgment, and relationship-building skills.
