Insurance Sales Assistant at Dutchie
About This Job
The Insurance Sales Assistant Job will support our sales agents with all administrative tasks to make insurance sales more efficient. They will gather all customer data and documentation, ensuring it is translated into the right systems. They will additionally prepare all insurance documents to be appropriately signed by customer and sales agents. The right candidate will be exposed to a dynamic work environment with a high degree of complexity that solves a critical customer need. They will also learn deep experience in the insurance sales world. A skill set in high demand in a very large industry.
What You'll Do…
- Answer phone calls and emails from customers promptly and direct inquiries to the appropriate department to ensure client satisfaction
- Schedule customer appointments ensuring follow ups are completed
- Update our database and systems regularly to make sure we have current customer information readily available
- Prepare insurance documents for customer signatures Interface with carriers and wholesalers to ensure all documentation is complete and flow smoothly between them and out agency
What You Bring…
- High school diploma or GED required, Associate’s Degree in business administration or related field preferred
- 2+ years work experience in administrative support, customer service, or insurance industry is preferred
- Proven track record of strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient data entry skills
- Strong computer skills (ideally on mac), including the ability to use Excel and standard word-processing programs, gmail. Additionally Experience with Salesforce, Applied Epic or Vertafore and Docusign preferred
You’ll Get…
Cash compensation range: $50,000 – $66,000 USD annually
