Job Highlight: Claims Specialist
Resilience is seeking a Claims Specialist to join its global Claims and Incident Management team.
This position is responsible for investigating and managing cyber, technology E&O, and professional liability claims. The role also works closely with security, technology, underwriting, and incident response teams to support policyholders and help reduce losses during cyber events.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Claims Portfolio
- Own and manage a portfolio of cyber and professional liability claims.
- Conduct Investigations
- Review claim details, analyze coverage, and perform claim investigations.
- Manage Negotiations
- Work with insureds, brokers, vendors, and other stakeholders throughout the claims process.
- Recommend Reserves
- Evaluate insurance contracts and recommend appropriate claim reserves.
- Support Incident Response
- Coordinate with internal security and technology teams to assist policyholders during cyber incidents.
- Manage External Providers
- Oversee outside vendors and service providers during incident response efforts.
- Maintain Documentation
- Ensure claim files are accurate, organized, and thoroughly documented.
- Collaborate with Underwriting
- Share claim trends and analytics to help improve future underwriting decisions and risk selection.
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in claims handling, claims advocacy, cyber insurance coverage, or a related field.
- Experience evaluating primary and excess insurance coverage.
- Ability to manage increasingly complex claims.
- Strong communication skills with insureds, brokers, vendors, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
- Experience handling third-party claims.
- Knowledge of Technology Errors & Omissions and Miscellaneous Professional Lines claims.
- A Juris Doctor degree is not required.

- Established relationships within the cyber insurance broking community.
- Connections within incident response organizations.
- Experience working in cybersecurity-related industries.
