SEO Specialist at Progressive

As an SEO specialist for Progressive's Commercial Lines organization, you'll be responsible for assessing and driving projects that support our business initiatives and the user experience.

You'll design and develop beneficial content strategy for our website, www.progressivecommercial.com. This strategy focuses on search performance (organic and paid search), quoting platforms and business insurance products, with the primary goal of increasing site traffic and conversions. 

You'll collaborate with other UX professionals, technologists and business peers to align user needs with company objectives.

In addition, you'll jointly identify issues, craft potential solutions and strategic projects, and propose them to management. These multidimensional projects will enhance existing or new functionality and involve multiple user groups. 

Must-have qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher and two years of related experience designing user experiences.
  • In lieu of degree, four years of related experience designing user experiences.

Preferred skills

  • Experience in digital strategy, including web development, content and SEO
  • Experience using data to drive SEO results and continuously improve outcomes
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Knowledge of UX design, usability, and best practices  
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and solve problems 

Compensation

  • $56,300 – $75,100/year
  • Gainshare bonus up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
