Looking for remote evening or weekend jobs? Bonfire, Five Star Solutions and Fieldguide have openings with weekend availability, shifts extending into the evening, or a fixed late shift.

These are different work arrangements. Bonfire offers ongoing part-time weekend support. Five Star has temporary customer service work with assigned shifts and daytime training. Fieldguide offers a full-time technical support role. They will not all fit around an existing weekday job.

I checked the openings on October 28, 2026. Use the official links below to read the requirements, research each employer and apply directly. Openings and hiring terms can change.

1. Bonfire: ongoing part-time weekend customer support

Bonfire helps people design, sell and fundraise with custom apparel. Its Part-Time Customer Support Representative (Remote, Weekends) opening involves helping buyers and sellers through email and chat, documenting problems and explaining solutions.

This is an ongoing role rather than a seasonal assignment. It is the first option I would check if recurring weekend work is the main goal.

Schedule, location and qualifications

  • Hours: 10–25 per week, depending on support volume. Required availability is Saturday and Sunday, noon–6 p.m. Eastern. Extra coverage may fall outside that window; do not assume every hour will be on those two days.
  • Location: U.S. residents, excluding California, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, Massachusetts, Washington, Connecticut and Illinois.
  • Experience: At least one year in customer service or a related role, plus a high school diploma or GED, strong written English and familiarity with Google Workspace.
  • Equipment: Your own reliable computer, internet connection and smartphone, with a reasonably distraction-free workspace.

The schedule is shared at least a week ahead. Holiday coverage and covering teammates' time off may also be needed. Support-system experience, prior remote work and phone skills are preferred, so I would not treat this as a guaranteed phone-free position.

Pay, benefits and company research

Bonfire does not disclose the pay rate or benefit eligibility in this listing. Ask about those terms, worker classification and how the weekly hours are assigned before accepting an offer.

You can research historical compensation through Bonfire's Glassdoor customer service salary page. Those estimates are not the rate offered for this weekend position.

Apply and research Bonfire

Best fit: An eligible U.S. applicant with service experience who wants recurring weekend work and is willing to confirm the undisclosed pay. When researching, use the Bonfire apparel company based in Richmond; other businesses have the same name.

2. Five Star Solutions: temporary customer service with evening and weekend coverage

Five Star Solutions, also known as Five Star Call Centers, provides customer service for other businesses. Its Customer Service – Temporary opening handles inbound questions about debit card incentives, orders and balances. Phone work, following scripts and possible upselling are part of the role.

The listing offers temporary full-time or part-time work. It has the lowest stated preferred experience threshold of these three options, but the schedule and company reviews deserve attention.

Pay, schedule and training

  • Pay: $15 per hour, plus an additional $1 per hour for qualifying night and weekend hours. The differential does not apply to every hour automatically.
  • Hours: 20–40 weekly. The listing gives shifts within 8 a.m.–10 p.m. Eastern, Monday–Friday and every other weekend. An evening-only assignment is not guaranteed.
  • Training: Typically 2–5 paid days, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Eastern. You must also be available on the first and last business days of each month.

The employer labels these times “EST.” Confirm the applicable local-time schedule during hiring, particularly around daylight-saving changes. Someone with a day job should resolve training and shift availability before applying on the assumption that this is evening-only work.

Who can apply?

The Charlotte location in the heading does not tell the whole story. The description allows applicants in 27 states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Previous customer service experience of 3–6 months is preferred, and call center or office experience is a plus. Applicants need basic computer and phone skills, must be at least 18, and must complete the required background check.

You supply the equipment: a suitable Windows computer, dual monitors, wired internet and a USB headset. Read the full technical requirements in the job description before purchasing anything.

Benefits and company reviews

Five Star maintains an employee benefits portal, including a 2026 summary for full-time hourly employees. Those materials do not establish benefit eligibility for this temporary or part-time assignment. Ask about the exact position.

I would approach this option cautiously. The U.S. Glassdoor reviews page retrieved during the October 28 check displayed 2.5/5 from 80 reviews. Reviews reflect individual experiences across roles and programs, but they are a reason to ask clear questions about supervision, scheduling and assignment duration. Ratings can change.

Apply and research Five Star Solutions

Best fit: Someone comfortable with phone work and temporary employment who can meet the training requirements. Confirm the assigned shift and read recent reviews before investing substantial time in the application. The exact posting ID is 021c55c7-5107-497d-a639-d6e9d4e4dfe7.

3. Fieldguide: full-time remote product support on a late shift

Fieldguide builds software for audit and advisory firms. Its Product Support Representative opening helps business customers troubleshoot the platform through email, phone and chat. The work also includes onboarding assistance, reproducing issues for Engineering and maintaining help documentation.

This is the most clearly defined late shift of the three, but it requires relevant experience. You are supporting the software, not applying to become an accountant or auditor.

Salary, schedule and requirements

  • Pay: $52,000–$75,000 USD annual base salary, with equity offered. This is the employer's published range; an offer depends on the factors stated in the posting.
  • Location and schedule: Full-time, remote within the United States, with a required 2–11 p.m. Pacific shift. That is 5 p.m.–2 a.m. Eastern. The listing does not specify the weekly day pattern or exact paid hours within that span.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of customer support and 1–3 years of customer-facing technical work. Support, implementation and solutions experience can count. Those periods may overlap; do not assume they must add up to separate years.
  • Other requirements: Startup or scale-up experience, independent problem-solving and adaptability. Familiarity with Microsoft Office merge tags is desirable.

This is a full-time opportunity, not an occasional evening side job. Make sure the late finish works for your local time zone and other commitments.

Benefits and company research

Fieldguide's careers page includes a Perks and Benefits section describing flexible PTO, wellness benefits, stock options, technology reimbursement and company offsites. Confirm the exact terms for this role. Flexible PTO does not mean you can choose a different daily shift, and offsites mean you should ask about travel expectations.

Use Fieldguide's Glassdoor reviews and company pay and benefits page for additional research. The broader Product Support Representative salary page mixes employers and compensation types; the official listing is the better source for this opening's pay.

Apply and research Fieldguide

Best fit: Applicants with genuine technical customer support experience who want a full-time late shift. Use the U.S. posting with ID cec72c64-181d-4daa-ba65-b20c2bc37939; a separate UK opening has a similar title but different terms. On Glassdoor, choose the audit-software company, not the unrelated FieldGuide IT business.

Which job should you check first?

  • For recurring part-time weekend work: Start with Bonfire, provided your state and experience qualify. Ask about actual pay and additional coverage.
  • For a lower preferred experience threshold: Consider Five Star, but check its reviews, daytime training and assigned shift carefully.
  • For a full-time late shift using technical support experience: Start with Fieldguide's U.S. opening.

For broader career research, the Bureau of Labor Statistics has information on customer service representatives and computer support specialists. National occupation data is background information, not evidence of what these companies will pay or how many remote openings they have.

Before you apply

Check your location, assigned shift, training hours, equipment and employment terms. Use Glassdoor to investigate experiences, not as a substitute for the employer's current requirements or offer. Never pay someone to apply for a job.

If an application link stops working, the opening may have been filled. Return to the company's careers page for replacements, or browse more remote jobs on Self-Made Success.
