Job Highlight: Customs Trade Specialist
FedEx Logistics is seeking a remote Customs Trade Coordinator to help process import documentation and coordinate customs clearance activities for shipments entering the United States.
The role focuses heavily on data entry, compliance, customer service, and working with customs regulations and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide Customer Support: Deliver high-level service to customers and assist with customs-related questions.
- Process Import Documentation: Enter and process customs paperwork and shipment records for U.S. Customs and participating government agencies.
- Classify Goods: Research and determine proper customs classifications using databases, tariff schedules, SOPs, and reference materials.
- Maintain Compliance: Keep shipment documentation accurate and compliant with importing and exporting regulations.
- Coordinate With Teams: Work with internal departments, government agencies, brokers, carriers, and customers.
- Resolve Issues: Follow up on customs matters and help resolve shipment or documentation problems.
- Perform Reviews: Complete entry reconciliations and shipment reviews when needed.
Qualifications
- Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience Requirements: Minimum 6 months of work experience required. At least 12 months of industry experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Data entry experience required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook, using multiple windows and screens.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Work Style: Ability to work independently and manage time-sensitive, high-volume tasks.
- Problem Solving: Comfortable using multiple systems and researching information.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of customs regulations and harmonized tariff schedules preferred.
