Data Entry Representative
BroadPath is hiring meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Representatives to work remotely at home. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, entering, verifying, and editing complex and confidential data. You will collaborate with other departments to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure an efficient data and information flow. As a key resource for specialized data files, you will uphold data integrity and resolve any inconsistencies or problems.
Responsibilities
- Reviews, validates, and enters data from electronic documents into database systems using a keyboard
- Cross-references data by comparing database records with source documents and makes corrections when needed
- Determines if additional information is required based on current or previously received data
- Ensures accuracy by reviewing completed work
- Updates tasks or record status based on captured data to move records to the next processing stage
- Adheres to data integrity, security policies, and relevant laws/regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of data entry experience
- 1 year healthcare experience
- Knowledge of Healthcare definitions, medical terminology, medical forms, and basic regulations
- Attention to detail and accuracy including closely monitoring all aspects of the job and continually checking processes and tasks
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to listen attentively, follow instructions accurately, and produce written content using proper grammar and spelling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong word processing and data entry skills
- Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion
- Ability to follow specific instructions and procedures accurately
- Must have constant access to a smart device for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) during working hours
Systems Experience Preferred:
- Previous Salesforce experience
