Trust and Safety Associate at Fansly

As a Trust and Safety Agent, you will be an integral part of our team dedicated to maintaining a safe and respectful online environment for our users. Your role involves monitoring user-generated content, applications, interactions, and reported issues to enforce our platform's guidelines and policies. You will play a vital role in ensuring user satisfaction and safety.


Responsibilities:

  • Review and moderate user-generated content and reported content for compliance with our platform's guidelines, policies and Terms of Service.
  • Be comfortable reviewing media that is consistent with adult entertainment.
  • Address and resolve user-reported issues such as harassment, illegal content, and other violations in a timely and empathetic manner.
  • Take appropriate actions based on content moderation guidelines, including escalating severe cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve moderation procedures and policies based on emerging trends and challenges.
  • Provide clear and courteous responses to user inquiries regarding content moderation decisions processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of moderation actions and user interactions using internal tools and systems.
  • Contribute to the development of the department by providing feedback and suggestions to training and guidelines.
  • Assist in testing and implementing new moderation tools and technologies.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance moderation skills and knowledge.


Qualifications
:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Strong familiarity with online platforms, social media, and digital communication.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while adhering to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess content objectively and make appropriate decisions.
  • Empathy and emotional resilience to handle sensitive and potentially distressing content.
  • Prior experience in customer support, content moderation, or community management is advantageous.
  • Applicants must be proficient in English both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of moderation tools and technologies is a plus.
