Koniag Professional Services, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Temporary Data Entry Specialist to support KPS and our government customer. This position is remote.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Temporary Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately inputting and managing patient and administrative information within electronic systems.
- Maintaining the integrity of medical records and other documentation that supports clinical and operational workflows.
- Enter and update data into internal databases, spreadsheets and content management systems Review data for accuracy, completeness and consistency, managing corrections as needed.
- Maintain organized digital records and ensure data is stored securely and in compliance with HIPAA, KGS and agency guidance.
- Key duties involve transcribing data from various sources, verifying its accuracy, correcting errors, managing digital records, and sometimes generating reports, requiring strong attention to detail, fast typing, and organizational skills.
- Enters patient information into the computer system in an accurate and timely manner.
- Prepares various reports as requested by management, Communicates effectively with team and vendors.
Skills and qualifications needed:
- High School diploma or GED
- Maintain confidentiality regarding medical information
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong verbal, written and typing skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Ability to work in a high-paced, high-volume data entry environment
