Wouldn't it be nice if you could make $37k/month online just reading and commenting on Reddit posts?
Here is a how a brand called EmKay does this:
What is EmKay?
EmKay is a YouTube channel where someone basically curates the top posts and comments for a popular subreddit and turns them into videos with funny commentary.
According to Social Blade, they could be making a much as $37k/month or more from these simple videos.
How they do it
Step 1: Get audio equipment.
I like using the Scarlett Studio Bundle that has multiple version available on Amazon.
This will be used to do the commentary on the Reddit posts and top comments you put in your videos.
Step 2: Next, you'll need a video editor.
I use Camtasia, but many people swear that Adobe Premiere Pro is the best.
You'll use one of these to combine the screen shots of Reddit posts and comments with your audio narrations to create videos that you can upload to YouTube.
Step 3: Get some sort of screen capture tool or make sure your PC has one built in.
If you don't already have one, or would like to use a different one, you can get the Lightshot Chrome extension for free on your browser.
Step 4: Find the best subreddits for you channel.
EmKay doesn't seem to really specialize in a few subreddits.
Instead, they just use a lot of the most popular ones.
To make your channel different, you might consider specializing in one subreddit or group.
Step 5: Gather posts and comments to create your videos
Start sorting your chosen subreddit posts by most popular for the past month or less to make sure you're not posting old or stale content.
It's probably best to only do the same subreddit once every month, so you're not overdoing it.
Step 6: Rinse and repeat
Keep making videos, gathering subscribers and keeping track of which types of subreddit posts your viewers like the most, so you can give them more of that in the future.
