If you like this site, you might also check out TaskRabbit. It's very similar.
Plus, because you're a “freelancer,” you can work whenever you want and just look for jobs through their app.
9. Userlytics
At Userlytics, you can get paid $5-$90 per test on a website or app.
With these tests, you usually answer questions about the user-friendliness, layout, and other aspects of a website or app.
You can take these tests using a computer or mobile device and get paid via PayPal.
Also, you will have to be at least 16 years old to start testing.
10. WatchLAB
WatchLAB is another site that lets you make money by participating in focus groups.
These focus groups are usually city-specific, but also have quite a few nationwide ones that can be done remotely.
It's also teenager friendly with some studies allowing you to participate as early as 16 years old.
The range of pay here is usually around $60-$150/hour with an average of around $100 per hour.

11. Online Verdict
Online Verdict is a site that lets you get paid to participate in a mock jury.
A mock jury is basically a fake jury for a case that a lawyer can try different strategies with to practice for a real case.
This lets the lawyer get an idea if a jury might side with them or no based on a certain approach before trying it with a real jury.
These cases usually only last 20-60 min and you can earn $20-$60 per case as a mock juror.
You'll need to be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen to participate.
12. E-Cyrano
At E-Cyrano, you can get paid to write dating profiles for people.
They pay $78-$120 per profile.
13. UserTesting
At UserTesting, you can get paid to test websites.
The higher paying live interviews pay $30-$120 each, while the lower paying tests pay $4-$10 each.
You can take part in UserTesting worldwide as long as you are at least 18 years old.
Also, you can get paid weekly within 7 day via PayPal.
14. Link Able
With Link Able, you can get paid an average of $375 per backlink you get for clients.
Backlinks are basically when one website links directly to another, usually within a blog post.
This sends signal to Google and other search engines that the content being linked to must be high quality and therefore can help it rank higher in search results.
This results in more traffic and revenue for the website that gets higher rankings.
Because backlinks can be such a big help in ranking content, site owners will pay a premium to people who can get them.
At Link Able, you can get matched with brands that want more backlinks and will pay well for them (some will pay as much as $1000 each).
15. Real Python
At Real Python, you can get paid around $300 per article to guest post articles about python, web development, data science, productivity, psychology, careers, and a lot more.
They expect articles to be at least 1,500 words and prefer writers to be advanced-level developers.
16. Textbroker
At Textbroker, you can get paid to be a freelance writer and create blog posts for clients.
There is no experience required to apply, however they do have a skills test you'll need to pass to get approved as a writer.
Here, you get paid by the word (up to $0.055 each), depending on the quality of your articles.
For instance, you could earn $302.50 for a 5500-word article.
17. FindFocusGroups.com
This site is a focus groups job board.
Here, you can sometimes find focus group studies or surveys that will pay you $300 each.
The pay can range anywhere from maybe $50-$500 or so per survey you participate in.
It can be a great way to make some extra money on the side if you're located in the U.S.
18. User Interviews
Another place to make money doing surveys is at User Interviews.
Here, you can find all sorts of paid surveys including in-person, online, over the phone, 1-on1, focus groups, multi-day studies, and more.
I've seen surveys paying as much as $600 here!
19. Focuscope
Another focus group organization is Focuscope.
Here, you can earn $75-$250/hour ($100 avg. payout).
These focus groups are also usually city-specific, but most studies are remote.
Focuscope also likes to post their opportunities to a Facebook page that you can find here.
20. Code Tuts+
At Code Tuts+, you can get paid $100-$250 per in-depth web development tutorials you have guest published.
They are looking for people who can write about both front-end and back-end web development.
They accept articles about PHP, Ruby, server-side JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, document-based database systems, and other web development-related topics.
A “quick tip” (a shorter tutorial), pays $100.
If you contribute an in-depth tutorial, however, you’ll be paid $250.
21. Voices
If you want to get paid very well to read a script, book, or just about anything else, you might look into voiceover sites.
Voices is arguably the biggest voiceover job site in the market.
Here, you can earn $100 to $250 for around 30 seconds or less than a page of script.
National commercials for big brands pay the most, which is often between $5,000 and $25,000 per gig.
Audiobooks pay $200-$300/finished hour. Therefore, you can make up to $3,000 or so, depending on the length of the audiobook.
Or, you could even start out doing explainer videos, which are considered the easiest voiceover jobs because they are short, usually between 30 and 60 seconds, and they use simple language to explain a new idea or to introduce a new product.
No matter what kind of voiceovers you do, you can usually get very well compensated at a site like Voices.

Another place you can get paid for guest posts is Make A Living Writing.
Here, you can earn $75-$150 via PayPal per post that you get published on the site.
They typically look for subjects that writers would be interested in reading about like:

Try to go for weird perspectives on something normal.
No opinions, personal stories, sports, self-help, gaming or posts like that.
For each post you get paid $100 via PayPal.
24. Good Nature Program
At Good Nature Program, you can get paid to donate stool for science.
You can earn $75 per poop; up to $1,500 a month in compensation to donate your poop (compensation may vary by city and is subject to change).
There are also frequent donor bonuses for donating four to six days weekly for extended periods of time.
They are looking for healthy individuals who have regular bowel movements and are 18 to 50 years old, are of a normal weight, don’t smoke, and have no history of gastrointestinal disease or alcohol or drug abuse to donate their poop.
You must be available to donate three to four times a week at the collection site.
People cannot participate while they’re pregnant, though we encourage them to keep us in mind for the future.
25. WeGoLook
At WeGoLook, you have a few different jobs you can get paid to do:

The first, Looker, is what the company is known for having.
The others require more experience or credentials.

From my research, people have reported gigs paying anywhere from $15-$200 each.
26. Appen
Mystery Shopper
At Appen, they have Mystery Shopper gigs that can pay up to around $500.
These are available in many different countries and not just the US.
“As a Mystery Shopper, you will purchase products online in the comfort of your home and complete surveys related to the purchase. We are looking for your feedback to improve the shopping experience all around the world.”
Requirements:
– You need to have the funds to purchase the products (max $500/month, no minimum)
– Be fluent in English
– Have good attention to detail
– Have the capacity to purchase online using credit or debit cards, online payment options like PayPal, Gcash, digital wallets, etc.
– Have access to a laptop or PC
Pay:
Typically you get paid in products + a flat rate for each purchase you do.
So, you can earn up to $500 in free products that you can keep or sell, plus a $5 or so payment for each purchase you do for the project.
All of this can be done at home as well!
Speech Data Collection
At Appen, you can get paid to do speech-related data collection gigs.
This is how it works:

Social Media Video Evaluator
With a Social Media Video Evaluator gig at Appen, you can get paid $300 to watch 750 short videos and enter data about them.
This gig usually takes around 25 hours to complete and doesn't require any experience.
27. Taskverse
At Taskverse, you can get paid as much as $50/task to do all sort of microtasking gigs that help train AI.
You can sign up worldwide and work whenever you want.
Also, you will usually be paid within 5-10 days of completing a gig.
28. Motley Fool
At Motley Fool, you can sometimes find a gig like the Freelance Video Content Creator.
With this gig, you get paid $110 for every 8 minute or so video article you create for them.
It's very flexible and lets you work from home, but you do have to commit to doing at least 4 video articles per month.
29. Gamurs
At Gamurs, they sometimes pay freelancers $11-$60 for each gaming article they write for them.
They typically want gamers to write about news, reviews, and other things related to upcoming or recently released games.
They also open these opportunities up to people worldwide.

At Oatmeal Studios, you can get paid to write greeting cards.
They pay $100 per accepted idea and reject the following:
