So you decided to become an entrepreneur and your goal was to work from home full time.

The only problem is that you may get bored or lose focus while working throughout the day, so you're not as productive as you would like to be.

What if you could make working from home more fun to the point where you actually look forward to sitting down at your computer to put in some quality work for the day? To be productive and stick with your online business, you need to actually love what you do.

Here's Some Ways To Make Working From Home More Fun:

1. Outsource what you hate doing. Lets face it, no matter what you do, there's probably parts of your work that you don't like doing and absolutely dread. The solution to this problem is to simply pay someone else to do those tasks for you.

In fact, one great website for this exact purpose is Fiverr. On Fiverr you can have people do all kinds of simple tasks for you for just $5. It's cheap, it's effective and it saves time. Plus, it is much better than actually having to hire someone to be your assistant and pay them by the hour.

2. Listen to music while you work. To be more specific, I would recommend you listen to instrumental music that doesn't have lyrics. You see, part of your brain actually isn't being used while you work on tasks a lot of times, especially in a quiet environment.

So, what happens with this side of your brain is it starts to wonder and cause you to get distracted from the work you are actually supposed to be doing. By listening to instrumental music you keep that side of your brain occupied and it allows you to be more focused, plus you can get into the rhythm of the song, making work more enjoyable.

Obviously you want to avoid songs with lyrics because then you might get distracted by what is being said in the song and you may try to sing along or something. What I do is put on Pandora Radio and pick a station based on a band that does only instrumental music. It works great!

I focus much better on my work now because it puts me in a better working mood and keeps my short attention span in check. This really is a great strategy if you get distracted or scatter-brained fairly often.

3. Don't do the same exact thing everyday. If you did the exact same tasks everyday you would probably want to shoot yourself after a few months of that. Another example would be if you ate the same exact food everyday.

Even if you like the food, you would get really sick of it after having it multiple days in a row. Then you wouldn't want anymore. If this happened to you with your work, you would get sick of working and go broke.

Try to mix it up and get the hard stuff out of the way first, so you can look forward to the rest of the day. You may even assign certain tasks to certain days of the week.

4. Don't become a workaholic. Although it might work at first and give you some great results if you work a lot all the time, you don't want to be like that for very long. You could get too burned out and end up quitting what you're doing in the end.

Have some set hours that you will work each day and stick to them. When your time is up and it's time to call it a day, so you can go relax or have some fun, make sure you do that. Work hard and play hard.

5. Create a work environment that makes you want to work. This is one thing that really helped me because I would get discouraged from working more and more, but I couldn't figure out why. It turns out, it was because I was facing the corner of two walls in my home office with the door facing behind me.

It's like I put myself in a cubical without even realizing it and a cubical is exactly what I was trying to avoid by working from home. Put your desk in a place that makes you happier. Put up some art or pictures you love. Have a big whiteboard on the wall for you to mastermind and draw up plans.

Do whatever you have to do to create a home office that you absolutely love being and your production will definitely increase.

6. Don't fall for the typical work hours in your home business. Just because companies install 8 hour work days with just a short lunch break in between, doesn't mean that's the best thing for the employees. As someone who works from home, you don't have to follow those hours.

In fact, it's been proven in studies that working more hours during the day doesn't necessarily get more production. The way humans are wired is they need a 2o minute break after every 90 minutes or so to take their mind off work, recharge their batteries and come back fresh and productive.

The 8 hour work days have been around since the industrial age. Don't you think it's time things were updated for the benefit of production and the workers?

7. Do some personal development every morning before work. If you've ever listened to Tony Robbins, read Think and Grow Rich, etc., then you know that you feel extremely inspired after even a few minutes of it. If you can develop yourself a little everyday you will be a much more advanced person long term.

For the short term, it actually can boost your mood dramatically and inspire you to want to take more action and work on what you must to get big results. Listen to personal development audios, read books, etc. each morning for at least 20 minutes and it'll give you more breakthroughs and increased production than you can imagine.

Conclusion

If you make working from home more fun, you won't ever feel like you're working. It'll help your mood and make you more consistent in taking action, so that you may get bigger results.
