If you want a fairly easy way to make some extra money on the side, you can get paid to categorize and label content online with these sites:
Toloka
At Toloka, you can sign up to do many different types of microtasking jobs like categorizing content, transcription, moderation, etc.
There are no education, location or experience requirements here.
They also provide training and allow you to withdraw once you've earned at least $0.02.
According to Glassdoor reviews, the pay is between $15 and $66/hour.
MTurk
At Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk), you can get paid to also do things like categorize content, translate, label listings, etc.
You can actually sign up here with your existing Amazon account and get paid via Amazon gift cards.
They also seem to accept people worldwide here.
Most reviews say you can average up to $25/hour.
Invisible Tech
At Invisible Tech, you can find job listings that let you work part or full-time being something like an Advanced Audio AI Trainer.
Unlike the other sites, they do say that they want you to “have a mix of education and professional/practicum-based experience in speech pathology, phonology, phonetics, sociolinguistics, American Literature, creative writing, social work, cultural anthropology, actor, accent coach, audiologist, communications, music/sound designer, or adjacent fields.”
They also tell you upfront that these gigs pay around $24/hour.
Remotasks
At Remotasks, you can do similar work to what you would find at Toloka and MTurk.
Like those sites, you can work anywhere, anytime.
They mention having gigs like labeling images and transcribing audio as some of your options here.
Another nice thing about this site is that they pay you weekly via PayPal.
As far as pay, it depends on the difficulty of the gigs.
The more difficult the gig, the more it pays.
They also mention in reviews that the pay can vary from around $15-$80/hour.
