Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $32.74 – $43.65
Zone B: $29.47 – $39.33
Zone C: $27.21 – $36.25
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

About the role:
- Accountable for meeting setting, outbound prospecting, SLAs, conversion quota, forecasting, feedback loops, communication to key stakeholders and customer obsession.
- Collaboration with internal teams – work closely with sales, marketing, partner and operations teams to leverage and triangulate personas for inbound leads.
- Develop and execute strategies to penetrate target accounts including: identifying key stakeholders, creating content and questions that garner further interest in Atlassian solutions.
- Ability to successfully navigate objections through value driven messaging
- Customer-focused, analytical, creative, an effective communicator in both written and verbal forms
- Effectively build pipeline in coordination with our Enterprise Advocate and Enterprise Marketing teams.

Compensation At Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $68,100 – $90,800
Zone B: $61,300 – $81,800
Zone C: $56,600 – $75,400
Entry Level Business Development Rep at Brand ID
This is a fully remote position, however, only candidates that reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, MD, MI, NC, OR, and WA will be considered.
Brand ID is a global apparel trim, packaging and UPC supplier with the goal of creating a seamless process for trim design, development and delivery. We work with over 500 enterprise level brands around the globe to supply more than 10,000 apparel manufacturers in over 100 countries. Brand ID is the packaging and apparel trim company for the modern brand. We design everything with our customers in mind and have created an ordering, manufacturing and distribution system that offers them complete control.
Who You Are
Our Business Development Team thrives on generating leads and prospects, identifying new opportunities, and setting Brand ID up for long term wins. We are looking for a high energy individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to join this elite team as a Business Development Rep. You will be working with the biggest brands in the world and gaining experience with elite business processes. You will be gaining experience in business development, marketing strategies, and how the retail and apparel industries supply chains work. The ideal candidate has great presentation skills, is organized, and eager to learn new sales processes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Acting as the first touchpoint to our enterprise level brands
- You will play an integral role in qualifying leads, implementing proven tactics to help ensure the successful execution of outbound marketing campaigns, and supporting customer acquisition and sales strategies
- Uncovering & qualifying prospective customer needs, staying up to date with clients business, and identifying opportunities for Brand ID using business systems such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and Rocket Reach
- Working in Salesforce to complete all Account Based Selling fields for our leads to ensure we are targeting the right companies and the right divisions therein. This will allow every lead to be qualified before sales steps are taken.
- Build our sales team’s pipeline and keep all contacts and activities up to date in Salesforce.com
- Demonstrating initiative, creativity & collaboration through the sales and business development departments
- Assembling account lists and updating appropriately
- Staying up to date on our brands’ financial records and funding via Crunchbase Pro
- Collaborating with BDR team on best outreach strategies
- Report to BDR Manager on new business opportunities with existing and new brands
- Staying up to date with brands – keep track of new developments, collaborations, industry trends via research and email subscriptions such as Retail Dive, WGSN, Hypebeast, and Outside Business Journal
- Setting up initial samples for a brand & working with Hong Kong and our Costa Mesa showroom to ensure the correct samples are getting sent out
- Presenting the Brand ID profile to potential customers
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Likes to conduct in depth research and identifying new opportunities
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 0-2 years of related work experience, post-graduation
- Great presentation skills
- You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and growth mindset
- Very Organized and ability to think outside the box
- You must be able to work in a team environment with the ability to network
- Proficient in Google Office products
- Passionate about brands and eager to learn more about the industry
- Coachable, self-motivated, with a “get the job done” attitude
- Professional, efficient communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills (positive and personable)
- PREFERRED: Experience with Salesforce.com or like CRM platforms
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The job is performed remotely in your own home. Activities include extended periods of sitting and extensive work at a computer monitor. This position is fully remote, but candidates must reside in one of the states listed above and be willing to work 8-5 (1 hour lunch) with occasional extended hours – subject to change based on business needs.
