DataForce by TransPerfect is looking for a freelance English (US) Linguist to be part of an innovative project related to Artificial Intelligence.
Task description:
As a Linguist in our audio collection project, you will be responsible for revision and evaluation of short audio samples in English US with various accents, submitted by potential contributors to ensure they meet requirements to participate in the project.
We expect the Linguist to evaluate the audios and confirm language, US accent, accuracy with provided scripts, and emotional expression.

- Idiomatic fluency in English (US)
- Degree in Linguistics, Translation, Phonetics or similar field
- Ability to assess and differentiate various US accents with confidence
- Comfortable with evaluating emotional expression of audio recordings
- Strong attention to details
- Flexible working hours, coordinated with the project team
- Reliable computer with a stable internet connection and a headset
- Prior experience in reviewing audio recordings is a plus
