The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Deal Desk Analyst to join our growing Business Operations team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth and efficient deal closures by working closely with sales, legal, finance, and other stakeholders. You will analyze and structure deals, ensure compliance with company policies, and facilitate timely approvals to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Deal Structuring and Analysis:
    • Review and analyze incoming deal requests from the sales team.
    • Ensure deals comply with company pricing, discounting, and approval policies.
    • Collaborate with sellers to optimize deal terms and structure for mutual benefit.
    • Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
    • Partner with stakeholders to advise/build deals in the systems to enable timely approvals, signature and customer invoicing.
  • Contract Review and Negotiation:
    • Review sales contracts and order forms for accuracy and completeness.
    • Identify non-standard terms and conditions, escalating as needed.
    • Collaborate with legal counsel to address contract issues and ensure compliance.
    • Build out associated deal configuration in the systems to support the quote to cash process.
  • Deal Approval Facilitation:
    • Manage the deal approval process, ensuring timely and efficient reviews.
    • Communicate with stakeholders regarding deal status and approval decisions.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the deal desk process.
    • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Build strong working relationships with sales, legal, finance, and other departments.
    • Act as a liaison between teams to ensure seamless deal execution.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Track key deal metrics and provide regular reports to management.
    • Analyze deal data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales operations, deal desk, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software a plus.

Compensation

  • The base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 USD.
  • This position is eligible to participate in a Company Bonus Plan.
