Renewals Specialist
Our Renewal Specialists are responsible for forecasting, maintaining, and improving our Gross Revenue Retention by being decisive in renewal conversations, identifying opportunities for growth, and supporting the non-Core revenue base to thrive in a low touch, digital-lead environment. They ensure that customers have insight into all that 15Five has to offer — including product packages, service offerings, and partner offerings — to maximize customer lifetime value. OUTCOMES
- Meet and exceed GRR Targets
- You meet or exceed retention targets for your book of business each quarter
- Directly responsible for renewal contract opportunities, managing churn, and renewal rates for assigned book of business. Responsible for all operational tasks related to the renewals process: cross-functional coordination, negotiations, administration, quotes, and customer communications with an emphasis on efficiency
- You maintain a clean, accurate renewal forecast for churn
- All renewals are closed on-time or brought into earlier quarters where needed or possible
- You’ve improved cross-functional, cross-departmental collaboration, especially with the Sales, Customer Support, and Finance teams in support of the customer in a self-service capacity
- Own and execute win/win negotiations for renewals to maintain customer trust. Aim for results and resolution within one conversation or touchpoint
- Meet and exceed NRR and MM Targets
- You maximize account growth by identifying and qualifying handraiser opportunities for new business upgrades and pass to sales team to close (exceeding NRR targets)
- You maximize customer success by identifying and qualifying opportunities to convert customers up the maturity model and pass to DLE team (conversion targets)
- Work with leadership team to define qualified MM and upsell goals and track using OKR
- Build, maintain and test digital engagement strategies for your book of business
- You execute customer engagement plays at scale, including testing communication channels and strategies for customer cohorts
- Continuously seek creative ways to improve customer experience, insight and communication in order to have more impactful conversations that maintain revenue and maximize efficiency
- Learn and demonstrate proficiency in Tools used in customer experience roles (ChurnZero, Salesforce, GSuite, Gong)
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree desired, or equivalent work experience1-2 years of experience in account management or sales development roles, SaaS industry strongly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership and high performance in life (school, work in prior roles, volunteer work, on a team or club, etc.
- Experience owning, forecasting, and exceeding renewal, upsell, and/or new business quotas
- Experience negotiating and communicating with all levels in an organization, primarily at the C-level
$45,000 – $60,000 a year

The base salary range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role across all US locations. We benchmark all roles for compensation in ranges relative to the top half of the market of similar tech companies using up-to-date market data. Within the range, individual pay is determined by budget allocated for the role and additional factors, including job-related competencies and skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US job postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. The US new hire base salary range for this full-time role is $50,000 + uncapped commissions + equity + benefits. The OTE for this role is $75,000 (base + target commissions).
