Isn't it interesting how just about every successful entrepreneur you hear about takes a few minutes each day to read a book? Reading, therefore, seems to have some sort of correlation to success.

I personally was never much of a reader. I don't think I ever finished a book in my life until I started studying what entrepreneurs did to become successful.

Reading daily seemed to be a pattern between all successful people I studied, so I realized that it would have to at least help me get closer to my goals if I started doing it myself. And it has.

There is a reason why people with famous entrepreneurship interviews, like John Lee Dumas, always ask every guest what their favorite books are.

There is a reason why Jim Rohn, one of the most well-known success coaches ever, has this famous quotes about reading:

“The difference between where you are today and where you'll be five years from now will be found in the quality of books you've read.”

“The only thing worse than not reading a book in the last ninety days is not reading a book in the last ninety days and thinking that it doesn't matter.”

And this quote that Tony Robbins always refers to that Jim Rohn taught him:

“Miss a meal if you have to, but don't miss your reading.”

A lot of the wisdom that contributed to the success of the entrepreneurs you have always looked up to can be achieved if you just learn to take reading seriously and read a lot of the same books as they did.
